Outreach Scholarship Community Partnership Award
Michigan State University inaugurated the Outreach Scholarship Community Partnership Award in 2006. The annual award provides University-wide recognition of highly engaged community-based research collaborations that positively impact both the community and scholarship. Each year, one award is conferred upon an MSU researcher and her/his designated community partner. Each receives a stipend of $1,500. Award co-recipients (researcher and community partner) are recognized at the University's annual Awards Convocation in February. Nominations are solicited for the Outreach Scholarship Community Partnership Award 2008-2009
Nominations must be submitted to the nominee's dean or administrator of the nominee's major administrative unit. Deans and administrators must forward the nominations to the Award Committee no later than Thursday, October 2, 2008.
Nomination forms and instructions, including details on selection criteria, are available at the Office of the Provost Web site.
Award recipients will be recognized at MSU's annual Awards Convocation on Tuesday, February 3, 2009.
